Baby Elephant Ears was founded by Alicia Overby, a wife and a mother of 4 kids. When her second child, Finn, was born, she was heartbroken by how he always seemed to be uncomfortable and in pain. After seeing a chiropractor, Finn was treated for subluxation, or a misalignment of vertebrae. It was suggested that Alicia use something to support him when he was in a seated position. After searching and coming up short, she decided to take matters into her own hands; she created the first Baby Elephant Ears. After seeing how much it helped Finn, she decided to share it with other parents. Since then, Baby Elephant Ears has expanded to sell blankets, bibs, stroller bags, stroller liners, and strap covers. Baby Elephant Ears is a woman owned small business that uses eco-conscience and local resources and supports fair and honorable labor practices.
